What communities are part of the North Bay & Area Rural Community Immigration Pilot?

The North Bay & Area RCIP boundary is comprised of the census division of the Nipissing District, the Parry Sound District and the Town of Latchford, extending south to the northern boundary of the Nipissing District.

How do I get a job?

The North Bay & Area Rural Community Immigration Pilot is not responsible for finding jobs for applicants.

Please Note: the job must be located within the North Bay & Area boundaries and fall within the priority sectors and occupations noted.

What if I am already working in the North Bay & Area?

If you are already employed in a full-time, non-seasonal job that meets all RCIP job requirements and you meet all RCIP candidate requirements then you can start the process with your Employer.

How long will the North Bay & Area Rural Community Immigration Pilot run?

The Rural Community Immigration Pilot will run until 2029.
