North Bay & Area RCIP Monthly Statistics: February 2026

At this time, the North Bay & Area RCIP program has granted 33 candidates community recommendations in 2026, with many more under review. 12 applicants were successful in February. Before the end of the calendar year, we will utilize our remaining allocations (222) to assist skilled workers and support our employers. There are currently 193 businesses designated.

Of the candidates successful in February, the average score was 92 points. The highest score was 112. These numbers highlight the quality of talent in both our candidate pool and communities.

The candidate and sector breakdown for 2026, thus far, is as follows:

  • 5 successful candidates from Business, Finance, and Administration.
  • 0 candidates recommended from Natural and Applied Sciences and Related Occupations, at this time.
  • 7 successful candidates from Health.
  • 7 successful candidates from Education, Law and Social, Community and Government Services.
  • 4 successful candidates from Sales and Service.
  • 10 successful candidates from Trades, Transportation, and Equipment Operators.
